Winter Family Camp – January 15-17th, 2016

The boys enjoyed a great winter camp out at Eisenhower State Park January 15th, 16th, and 17th.  Activities included hiking, outdoor cooking with dutch ovens, roasting marshmallows, exploring, and camping in cold weather.

Saturday started off with a great breakfast including scrambled eggs cooked in a dutch oven, hot chocolate, sausage, and pancakes.  Shortly after breakfast a light snowfall started with nice large snowflakes that didn’t even slow the boys down.
