PARENT -N- PAL WEEKEND TREVOR REES-JONES SCOUT CAMP APRIL 22 – 24, 2016

Parent-n-Pal is an action-packed weekend camping experience for a Cub Scout and his parent/partner at a Scout camp, doing fun  activities like shooting sports such as BB Guns and archery, games, horseback riding and more! It is the perfect outdoor experience for all Cub Scouts. All meals and program are provided for you – you only need to bring your own tent, sleeping bag, flashlight, camp chair and personal camping gear.

APRIL 22-24, 2016

Friday Check-in: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Saturday Activity Schedule: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Sunday Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m

The cost is $60 per Person*. Cost covers four meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday and breakfast on Sunday), a patch and all activity items.
*Scholarships available upon request Registration Deadline April 18, 2016
Cub Scouts can attend Parent-n-Pal as a pack, den, or individual family. The ultimate camping experience is one-on-one with your son creating lasting memories.Moms or Dads or both can attend. However, another adult family member may attend in place of a parent. (**Note: If there are two Scouts in your family, it is okay to attend with one parent)
Important: Children other than registered Cub Scouts CANNOT attend camp (no siblings).

Lone Star District Camporee – April 9, 2016

The district camporee is a weekend camp at the POW camp in Princeton, Texas.  The theme is “A Baden Powell Camporee”.  The Camporee is directed towards the Boy Scout Troops; however, Webelos are welcome to come during the day on Saturday.

 Fire Building / Fire Chit – Troop 294
 Working with Paracord – Troop 293
 Cardboard Dutch Oven – Troop 1167 (Will need to be at Scoutmaster’s meeting Friday night
for more info)
