Scouting for Food… A Scout is Helpful

Scouting for Food is the largest food collection event in the nation. Approximately 30,000 Scouts go door-to-door collecting non-perishable food items for the less fortunate.  The food is then distributed to local food pantries and assistance agencies across Circle Ten Council.
What is Scouting for Food?
Scouting for Food is the largest door-to-door food collection effort in the North Texas and Southern Oklahoma area benefiting more than 45 assistance agencies across the area.
Who helps with Scouting for Food?
Scouting for Food involves approximately 30,000 Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, friends, family and volunteers from the Circle Ten Council, BSA.

2018 Pinewood Derby for Pack 229 will be held at Harper Elementary on February 24th.  Check in for cars will be on Friday February 23rd in the evening.  Exact times will be provided at a later date.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2011, multi-platinum selling recording artists Pentatonix have sold roughly 3.5 million albums in the U.S. alone, won 2 Grammy Awards, sold out venues worldwide, have amassed over 1.5 billion views on their YouTube channel which is approaching 11 million subscribers and appeared in the feature film Pitch Perfect 2.
