We are having our first camping trip of the new year! All families of
scouts and their siblings are invited!
What to Bring: $10 per person for food, tent, chairs, head lamps for kids, flash lights, sleeping bags, reusable tableware and cups, plenty of clothes, 2 pair of shoes, toiletries, class B shirts and hat.
There will be pack leaders at the campsites early on Friday to have the spots secured and to help people get setup as they arrive.
Please let us know how many from your family will be going ASAP.

PARENT -N- PAL WEEKEND TREVOR REES-JONES SCOUT CAMP APRIL 22 – 24, 2016

Parent-n-Pal is an action-packed weekend camping experience for a Cub Scout and his parent/partner at a Scout camp, doing fun  activities like shooting sports such as BB Guns and archery, games, horseback riding and more! It is the perfect outdoor experience for all Cub Scouts. All meals and program are provided for you – you only need to bring your own tent, sleeping bag, flashlight, camp chair and personal camping gear.

APRIL 22-24, 2016

Friday Check-in: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Saturday Activity Schedule: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Sunday Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m

The cost is $60 per Person*. Cost covers four meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday and breakfast on Sunday), a patch and all activity items.

Cub Scouts can attend Parent-n-Pal as a pack, den, or individual family. The ultimate camping experience is one-on-one with your son creating lasting memories.Moms or Dads or both can attend. However, another adult family member may attend in place of a parent. (**Note: If there are two Scouts in your family, it is okay to attend with one parent)
Important: Children other than registered Cub Scouts CANNOT attend camp (no siblings).

Winter Family Camp – January 15-17th, 2016

The boys enjoyed a great winter camp out at Eisenhower State Park January 15th, 16th, and 17th.  Activities included hiking, outdoor cooking with dutch ovens, roasting marshmallows, exploring, and camping in cold weather.

Saturday started off with a great breakfast including scrambled eggs cooked in a dutch oven, hot chocolate, sausage, and pancakes.  Shortly after breakfast a light snowfall started with nice large snowflakes that didn’t even slow the boys down.

Scout Weekend Texas Rangers Games/Campout – May 15-17, 2015

SCOUTS, FAMILY, AND FRIENDS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND OUR ANNUAL SCOUT WEEKEND AT GLOBE LIFE PARK IN  ARLINGTON. CHOOSE FROM THREE GREAT GAMES AND WATCH YOUR TEXAS RANGERS  TAKE ON THE CLEVELAND INDIANS.  ALL  TICKETS PURCHASED THROUGH THIS  OFFER WILL RECEIVE A COMMEMORATIVE SCOUT PATCH.

Friday: Following the game, stay for a  post-game fireworks show.

Saturday: We will be hosting our field. Drop your camping gear off at the youth ballpark before the game. As soon as the Rangers v Indians games finishes, meet back at the youth ballpark for a camping experience on our youth field that includes popcorn, a movie, and dough-nuts in the morning. Attendees are encouraged to park in parking lots M or N.

One chaperon for every ten scouts will be required. You do not have to do the sleep-over if you would just like to attend the game. Campers will be limited to the first 150 to sign up.

Sunday: Attend the game on Sunday, May 17, and take part in a pre-game parade around globe life park before the game. To take part in the parade, scouts are encouraged to wear their uniforms and must report to the third base ramp just inside the Third Base Gate at least one hour prior to the start of the game. Parents/guardians will be asked to wait for their children by the ramp outside of section 9. Scout leaders in uniform are allowed to participate in the parade.
